Dr. Travis Tomblyn
Dr. Travis Tomblyn graduated with honors from West Virginia University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry at the top of his class. Dr. Tomblyn also served as the president of his dental class. He was immediately accepted into orthodontic residency where he spent three additional years acquiring his Master of Science degree and certificate for Advanced Education in Orthodontics from West Virginia University Department of Orthodontics. During his residency, Dr. Tomblyn worked on his thesis with Dr. Michael B Rogers, a past president of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). His research is currently published in the American Journal of Orthodontics (AJO) and the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJODO).
Dr. Tomblyn is an active member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honor Dental Society and Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Tomblyn met his wife Dr. Jen Tomblyn while working in a microbiology lab the year before dental school. They have been inseparable ever since. After their first visit, they fell in love with the beautiful scenery of Austin’s hill country and endless sunshine. When they are not at the office creating beautiful smiles, you can find them spending time with their puppy Macie, on the golf course, or enjoying Austin’s abundant outdoor activities.
